Who we are
PrivacyTerms.io is written and maintained by a small team of privacy researchers, compliance writers, and engineers who build and test the same document generators this site writes about. Our work splits three ways: tracking how privacy law actually changes, GDPR enforcement, US state privacy statutes, children’s privacy rules, writing plain-language explanations of what those changes mean for a website owner, and building the generators that turn that research into a document you can publish the same day.
Since 2013, PrivacyTerms.io has produced regularly reviewed legal document templates covering GDPR, CCPA and other US state privacy laws, CalOPPA, PIPEDA, and the Australian Privacy Act. Our statistics content, the sourced, numbered facts you’ll find throughout this blog, is built from named primary research, regulator enforcement data, academic studies, and industry surveys, and refreshed at least twice a year so the figures stay current rather than going stale the way a lot of “evergreen” content does.
If you spot a law that has changed, a statistic that needs updating, or a generator missing a jurisdiction you need, contact us and let us know.
